As you know, our products check the new version and verifies your license key when it starts.
Of course, you may say the requirement is the Internet connection.
Yes, you are right and you need not to do anything if you have a direct Internet connection.
Alternatively, you may get the Internet connection through a proxy server / firewall.
If you use Internet Explorer and set this proxy server / firewall in Internet Options, you do not need to do any additional work.
But if you do not use Internet Explorer (such as Firefox, Chrome) and have not set this proxy server / firewall in IE’s Internet Options, the checking new version and verifying license key functions will not work. Because our products use Windows Internet settings (set in Internet Options) to connect the Internet, so, even if you do not use Internet Explorer, please set your proxy server / firewall in Internet Options still if you get the Internet connection through them.
Another thing, the Proxy Servers that set in our emailing products are not used for these, they are used to connect to the SMTP server(s) only.
