As you know, Auto Mail Sender checks the new version and verifies your license key when it starts.

Of course, you may say the requirement is the Internet connection.
Yes, you are right and you need not to do anything if you have a direct Internet connection.

Alternatively, you may get the Internet connection through a proxy server / firewall.

If you use Internet Explorer and set this proxy server / firewall in Internet Options, you do not need to do any additional work.

But if you do not use Internet Explorer (such as Firefox, Chrome) and have not set this proxy server / firewall in IE’s Internet Options, then Auto Mail Sender‘s checking new version and verifying license key functionalities will not work. Because Auto Mail Sender uses Windows Internet settings (set in Internet Options) to connect the Internet, so, even if you do not use Internet Explorer, please set your proxy server / firewall in Internet Options still if you get the Internet connection through a proxy server / firewall.

Another thing, the Proxy Servers that set in Auto Mail Sender are not used for these, they are used to send your emails only.
