An important purpose of OBO sending mode.

Question from user:
Is Auto Mail Sender Standard Edition possible to send an email using a recipients list and have in the “To” field appear only one email of recipients.
So for example if I receive the email I’ll see only my email address in the “To” field and not all the other people’s addresses?

Answer by us:
Yes, our email newsletter senders can do this.
In AMSSE, please check “One-by-one mode” in your email template to achieve this.
In AMSFE, please set the related field in your email file by referring to the Interface documentation.
In AMSBE, please set the Sending method of season’s greetings parameter as “One by one”.

Please refer to What is Macro? What can it do and how to use it? to know more detail about OBO.

Some file types are blocked.

As a security measure to prevent potential viruses, a few SMTP servers (such as Gmail) don’t allow you to send executable files (such as files ending in .exe/.bat/.com) that could contain damaging executable code.

Now, these SMTP servers won’t accept these types of files even if they are sent in a zipped (.zip, .tar, .tgz, .taz, .z, .gz) format.

So, if you want to send a safe executable file (e.g. test.exe) in our emarketing software, please rename it to ‘test.ex_’ or other names and compress it first, and then tell your contacts in message content.

To know more detail about this, please refer to the following Gmail article:

The interval of recording interface location

Hello everyone,

As you know, Auto Mail Sender Standard Edition can restore the last position after it started (setting path: “Tools -> Options… -> Preferences -> Startup Position”).

In fact, it records the location of the main interface regularly, and the interval of recording interface location is 6 seconds.

Dear users:

A few days ago, two users said that can not open Auto Mail Sender Standard Edition interface.

After analyzed and debugged this issue, we found that the reason is:
dhtmled.ocx” file is not registered properly.

Because “dhtmled.ocx” is an important file of AMSSE interface, if it is not registered properly, AMS Standard Edition interface will not show.

In this case, you can resolve this issue by yourself:

1. Usually, “dhtmled.ocx” is stored under “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit” folder (for XP-, C: = system drive).
Just run the following command in Run or DOS box:
regsvr32 “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit\dhtmled.ocx”
If you can not find this file under above folder, you can download it from the Internet (search it first), and then put it into above folder and run “regsvr32 …” command.

2. If you use Windows Vista or higher, just download “dhtmled.ocx” for Vista/7 at
https://www.AutoMailSender.com/msdhtmled.msi and install it.

One more thing, perhaps the problem is caused by other reasons, then this article does not help you.
Fortunately, in the next version (4.21), AMSSE will provide the debug feature, and you will easily find out what causes abnormity. At that time, you can resolve it by yourself or ask us for help about it.
